Hold my beer
(I have my tax affairs sorted )
In which case, may the shit of a 1000 pigeons infest the washing line of your mother.
Funnily enough Hinchley had what was called a stick winding machine which meant they could produce a lot of high quality transformers very consistently for what would’ve been a relatively low price. Something their competitors at the time couldn’t do. However you needed to order large quantities so of course PQ did!
So not hand wound or anything fooey but they did/do sound pretty good.
I was just gonna ask the same question
If you are currently bidding I will drop out. No point raising the price.
Save your money for a nice streaming amp combo
I have a feeling it will only be this forum bidding on it lol
It needs the right speakers. Which you don’t have.
So who won it?
Not me.
This seems like very, very good value to me.
I use the XA100.5 monos in my system and tbh would probably get quite acceptable results from the XA30.5. Might be worth a cheeky ‘best offer’ at £2K.
He’s keeping his foo power cable though
Currently chatting with the seller, just wondering if it has enough current etc. to get my obelisks swinging
Stone cold bargain of an amp if it has enough for your speakers and your room/ volume level
That’s really interesting and good to know as my S500 has these too!
Nice of you to collect it from Gosport for the next meatman to buy it from you in a couple of weeks/months
Forgot to bid too busy watching aeroplanes
Thought I’d leave it for Chris
