Did you buy it?

Argh…no. And now have non-buyers remorse.

We have all been there

Now to go out and buy something way more expensive to make yourself feel better.

I think you probably need a fair bit more ooomph with your speakers to be honest. I would be looking at 75-100W Class A amps if I were you.

The most expensive monoblocks I can find

I’ve never heard one but the 50 or 100 seem to be highly thought of as the best sounding ones in the range

Maybe he needs a bit more power.

If he needs that then new speakers are probably I order!

Whopper

Marantz MA-9S2

Overpriced by 50% and can’t find out easily whether and how much of the initial power output is class A

Would take a Krell KSA50 over that anyday and turn all the heating off and open all the windows :fire:

Tread carefully around JDM stuff - way too many have had nasty mishaps and dodgybodgy rebuilds after fuckwits bang them straight onto 240VAC…

Seems like the obvious thing to do is drive to Scotland and pay £5k for some non-working amps :muscle:

Have horns been mentioned yet?
