I have just had a look at the schematics and there is really only one real mains transformer although it does have a few seperate windings.
I think the others are 50V and 12V
So 5 transformers is true but needs qualifying 
I’m also glad I don’t have to pick the damn things up.

Quite a modest robot as in normal use you can’t see them
There are 4 physical (mains) transformers (as in chunks of iron) but each has multiple windings.
There’s also a PSU choke and 2 audio transformers (interstage and output).
So 7 bits of iron.

Yes, adjusted for inflation, that’s comparable to some that I saw at the Tonbridge Audiojumble some time ago.
