Didn’t Darren have a set?

Indeed. He and I still stay in touch, and he’s still working as he heads towards his 80th.

He’d be most upset about being accused of owning JBLs though - the ESL57s are still there.

The ad doesn’t bode well, hope mike is ok but he was suffering a lot of health problems that sounded very serious

he said he loved the k2 s so much he would never sell them

They are fabulous speakers in the right set up, I can’t see me changing mine

clearly you’ve never heard any Linn Kans

That is a picture from Michael’s place. I went there in June 2006. He didn’t have those speakers at the time.

The ad seems to have disappeared?

Kans would have been easier to carry up the stairs, jbl said are 75kg each, providing a weighty sound :grinning:

Not ebay

Because reasons I was having a quick look at Drake’s ties on eBay, and I would like to congratulate this seller on smashing his face into the keyboard, doing precisely zero proof-reading and inventing an entirely new adjective.

ā€œHow’s it going?ā€

ā€œWomderfuk!ā€

Thought that was a motif of jungle animals with traffic cones for a second.

An animal print is fairly harmless IMO. Daleks etc., nyet.

Who remembers those 90s yuppie BUY/SELL or £/$ cufflinks? :grimacing:

Albrecht Womderfuk was 1974 Belgian Cross Country National Champion.
