eBay stuff (Part 2)

Not sure many people are going to pay that much for that.

Someone might be in for a bit of a disappointment when they win this BHF auction:

@Kevin

Eh? Why

Edit - noticed the photo is a headshell. At least they offer returns if issues! Might be a stock photo?

Lol !

Nice box though

Ooops!

Amazing that people are bidding :grinning:

Guessing they have no idea that a cartridge is meant to be in the box.

More amazing is that people are bidding

To be honest the Ebay team are normally pretty good.
There are about 120 people working in Leeds and they have specialists in different fields.
I’m sure you wouldn’t be surprised how much fake stuff is donated
Like any other retailer they would rather get it right first time.

The bloke who sorts all the vinyl and lists it used to be a record dealer and had his own shop and ddi the fairs.
His name is Richard, so of course is known as Vinyl Ritchie

Great amp

nearly bought Adam beoblokes Mowgan Ogmas a few years ago but with too much faffing about I went with Direkts instead.

Never heard of them before. But the drive unit selection is very nice.

He absolutely raved about them and said they were the best speakers he’d owned.

Looks like he finally sold them about 3yrs later in 2022 for around £2k. Reckon those as the model down could be had for less than the £2k

Yeah I think the price is a bit high, but hard to tell, not exactly a common thing.

I think by the time the company went under those were over £8K with the premium finish. They look a LOT of speaker for £2K.

I always wanted a pair, to the extent I contacted the chaps that owned the company asking if they wanted a down-south dealership: which they emphastically did not!

Precious little info out there. Review in Hi-fi world puts them at £4k 2007 ish.

They made lovely speakers but were fucking hopeless at actually selling them.
