eBay stuff (Part 2)

 Bit Triggers Broom don’t you think ?

Each snell xover was tweaked to match each speaker drivers response. As he replaced the caps and resistors with same values it should sound the same. The refoam will cause more of a sound difference but you’d never find an original after all these years.

Yebbut the woofers were replaced after the Xovers were done. Nothing at all against Anapeach restoration work, I have a couple of pairs of his speakers here but these were done in the wrong order, expecially for Snells.

Ah didn’t see that the seller had replaced the woofers after the restore. At least he has the originals to go back in.

Well, there’s your answer then, obvs.

Keen price. Heard those at Nigel / Polarbear’s place (inevitably) with Naim: very good, but the 3-way ironing-board Arts he replaced them with were a fair bit better. That brand also seems to go silly-cheap when they’re a few years old, if you’re not in a hurry…

:astonished: Sorry, but what, not in a hurry ? Does not compute. FFS !

Not particularly seriously looking. No clue what i actually want. Well, at the moment I mostly fancy some Kudos Titans but crikey they are expensive

Also off to Florida in a few weeks so really don’t want to buy anything before that.

I really liked the OTL monoblocks I had, bet that’ll sound really good…

Personally won’t touch anything made by John Palmer but they are supposed to be very good
