If by “retired” you mean “did a bunk from all of his responsibilities”, then yeah, he did.
Someone in the 'States acquired the rights to most of his designs, so last I heard spares were obtainable.
Can’t believe this hasn’t sold. I bought it in 2020 as ex demo from Cool Gales and sold it to Nick in late 2023.
The DAC is really impressive certainly on par with the AN 2.1x Sig.
haha yeah saw that, rest assured the aesthetix box/packing makes it bomb (or Hermes/Evri) proof

I can only assume it is because Aesthetix is largely unknown in the UK as I keep wondering the same. If you still play CDs and also want a decent dac it’s a lot of kit for the money.
Still very happy with the performance from my Signature model.
Do like how your system sounds, and would be tempted by this if I didn’t have the DAC/CDT I do.
In the unikely event anyone does want to take a punt - do contact Emporium direct: usually (not always!) much better to deal with direct, and much more likely to do a deal.

Blimey that was a good price! I’ve often been tempted by Art speakers in the past. You never seem to hear a bad word said about them. High WAF, generally as well.
