We’re quite similar then.
Since I am quite near field I put a 5 cm block under the rear leg so they’re slightly more upright which has made a difference as well.
Might be worth trying to see if it works for you.

I found the same, I had them firing across the short side of the room (10.5ft wide) toed in but found they sounded much better square on down the long side (14ft long) so I was about 11ft from them.
Awesome
I’ve always been amazed at their soundstaging: wide, flat baffles shouldn’t be so good at it, but the slight waveguide on the treble may be what makes all the difference.
Lack of sharp edges close to the drivers doesn’t hurt.
Wide flat baffles will be much better in general. It’s only for aesthetics that manufacturers use narrow baffles.
Look well made and that price is a bargain
I would have them in a moment to play with but Yeovil FFS.
@thebiglebowski Chris, you need these!
My current speakers would fit in those mid horn sections
The days of big (or expensive) speakers are behind me now
The answer to “how do you make a speaker that is both annoying and dull at the same time”
Sound like a crap first date.

Good price for an Io1 & S4.
The PFM member he bought the Io1 from was me.
Can confirm that the cart had been rebuilt by AN shortly before I sold it, so not surprised that AN said it didn’t need any work.
Happy with the Arts. Can’t be bothered changing anything with the hifi at the moment.
