Hope someone buys those quickly.

Iโ€™d be asking at least ยฃ5k for them but not sure Iโ€™d go with ATC SCM50 under any situation though.

Early 288s would be nice. I had the westrex version of these - they needed some effort but did show some promise. Japan man says ideal for small rooms, corridors, and center speakers

didnโ€™t think the A7 used 288s though?

A5 did no?

yebbut thought those for sale are A7?

Sorry, thought it was a general comment. I always get confused on the a7/a5 too many variants.

Heโ€™s asking ยฃ8K, no ?

Yes, heโ€™s just put a price on.

. Trying to get the money spent on cabinets back etc?

Is that not a bit rich given that the original crossovers are broken?

Drivers arenโ€™t worth much, probably ยฃ700 at most. Money is in the rarity and the nice cabs.

No idea how much it would cost to build nice wood surrounds but suspect heโ€™s added that full cost to what heโ€™s asking.

Not eBay butโ€ฆ

I am not sure that a white van is a good background for any pair of speakers.

Haha, I do really like the look of that pair though.
