Not such good views today. Very fine snow swirling around in the fresh NW breeze. More fell overnight and most roads (on all islands) are either blocked with stuck vehicles or have severe drifts making them impassable.

Running short on fresh food and our shop is not getting any deliveries this week so hoping that the forecast for it to be milder with rain over the weekend is correct so that I can get to Lerwick next week.
Time to set up drone deliveries!

It was 11.5c in the house when I got home at 2200 last night
Set the heating to super turbo wammer and it was back up to 17c this morning 
Still 0c but at least the wind has dropped so it’s just coming down vertically now 
The road to the ferry terminal is 2’ deep and much worse where it has drifted so the ferry crew couldn’t get to work.
Hard to motivate myself to move away from a pot of tea. and this, although we’ll be going out for a walk shortly
At least the temperature is forecast to rise to 7c for the weekend combined with heavy rain showers so should be clear by early/mid next week

Boilers been broken for last couple of months so been a bit nippy indoors.
