Yep, bit of a nip in the air this morning.
I’ve had to jump start the car this week due to the cold and also the battery is end of life. Replacement to get fitted today. £210 to replace cos it’s a start/stop ffs. A function I never use.

Our electric wheelbarrow wouldn’t go yesterday morning (too cold). Had to resort to human power (mine) to pick up rock hard donkey poo.
Sure sign its cold when you stub your toe and trip over dog and donkey poo.
Beauty with rock hard poo is that it’s easier to get a fair distance when lobbing it over neighbours gardens. I can usually get it into gardens 5 or 6 houses away

dog stopped eating horse and dog shit but went to town this morning when it was frozen
problem is when he eats horse/dog shit his farts fucking stink and I mean really fucking monumentally fucking reek.

FWIW I have a pair of these surgically attached during the colder months.
I didn’t use to feel the cold much, but the last couple of years as I’ve got older and slower…

30mph winds with 50mph gusts apparently.
Walked the dog and those gusts seem pretty much perpetual. With the pissing rain the waterproof jacket and trousers got a thoroughly good test this evening.
