Feckin' Weather

Good news. Frequently in the west of Scotland the summer weather doesn’t even stretch into the summer never mind the autumn. Often the best weather is in May followed by a disappointing summer that is akin to a mild autumn.

Please be true for once

Time to rest and be thankful…

60mph westerly this afternoon (gale force 10) with almost horizontal rain. Taking the girls for a walk at 5pm was a bit of a challenge. Walking into it was bit like having your face shotblasted while dragging a tractor tyre behind you.

Yes, running along the Quayside towards Scotswood in Newcastle early afternoon today, 17mph westerly gusting up to 37mph so know exactly what you mean:smirk::roll_eyes:

Been a lovely sunny day in South Yorks

Not quite in your league Paul but the 20 mph westerly tonight made for a bumper headwind on my cycle home but the strong side gusts made for a bit of an interesting jourmey in traffic

It’s wet and windy up North, I’ll let you know when it changes some time in May next year.
