My main memory is that the pyro definitely had “Not for indoor use” written on it in big red letters.

Sounds about right, the one I was at, I remember it being a summer gig, someone was dressed as Father Christmas in the mosh pit. Remember them getting dragged out with their beard covered in blood after being lamped in the nose.
Out again tonight, Owen Spafford and Louis Campbell in the 1500s Bishop’s House
aaand, later, to the annual torture of Banjo Banjax. Only 8 participants this year, with weapons of various sizes. Helmut Rheingans here, one of the best, also a banjo builder and father of Rowan and Anna (the Rheingans Sisters, who I shall see on Tuesday).

I got the email this morning. I’ve not been to Content before. I’m pretty sure it is a brand new, purpose built venue in the old Cairns Brewery. Looking forward to this.

The Hanging Stars were also good, Laurel Canyon/west coast type of stuff.
Album launch from the Melrose Quartet - sold out with 180 seats in a local church. Album is Make the World Anew - it’s good.
