The Yes double header won’t have finished by the 27th, nor the 28th, nor 29th…
Yeah, but already going to Pigsx7 that night. Contemplating going to both gigs as they are only 5 minutes walk apart.
Edit: so, I got a ticket for this gig.and will attempt both gigs.
Top gigging
I’ve managed to “organise” two four-dayers.
At the more extreme end of “alternative”, followed by a 3-day doom festival in both cases.
Pretty certain I’m going to die.
That’s the spirit Guy
I don’t know which glue sniffer decided that Siddhartha Belmannu was a percussionist, but it turns out that he’s a qawwali singer with a voice like a ringing bell.
Combine that with English electronica and Polish jazz sax and you’ve got 15/10, gig of the year etc.
Exeter in a couple weeks really looking forward to it @Ruprecht still coming ?
I’d love to did you grab a spare ticket?
Yep I got a spare keeping warm for you
Tamsin Elliott (harp, flute and quarter tone accordion) and Tarek Elazhary (oud) with Rowan Elliott (guitar, five string fiddle and percussion). An unusual and very pleasant evening.
bought the album
So the Brixton Academy has escaped the guillotine (the hearing was 11th-12th, and the decision has just been announced).
With a promise of much enhanced security, queuing, doors etc.
A fair compromise I would think.
It would be tragic to lose it as a venue, but no one should go out to a gig and not come home again
I agree, although I feel quite selfish in that it’s obviously a magnet for big name bands on my doorstep.
“77 robust conditions” for it to reopen apparently.
- Be less of a toilet
Just thinking back. Lenny Kravitz, The Cult, Underworld, Rammstein, Mastodon, Them Crooked Vultures are all stand-outs. I’d like it back please.
Was that the mutter tour?
