A few of us going to see an all female tribute act in a few weeks
I have organised this thing. Could do with selling a few more tickets in advance tbh. Pushing it on social media in the local area and have a couple of radio shows that I have been invited to plug it on.
Moustaches?
This is a gig I’ve been looking forward to, Alice Zawadzki and Rob Luft.
Here they are in a gig from last year

Went to see The Revolutionary Army of the Infant Jesus tonight. Magnificently pretentious performance. Really enjoyed it despite the heat and feeling shit from the CV19 jab yesterday. Bollocksed now…
I was very pissed off as I couldn’t get time off work the last time he was in Glasgow and by all accounts he was amazing.
Hopefully he might kick off his shoes and go full psych rock on yo’ ass - epsecially as he’s recently given up the fags.
It was the sitting down aspect of the gig that made my mind up.
You’ll need to check your zimmer in mind
I managed to get a table at the Utopia Strong gig at the same venue. Very civilised!
The end of the world is indeed nigh
Sadly it’s a rather longer bus ride for me!
Yeah, that’s a bit of a no-brainer.
Done now.
A few more shots from the Gate to Southwell Festival over the weekend. I was trying to conserve the phone battery so didn’t take many pics.
Reg Meuross with Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne, Suntou Susso and narrator in the impressive Stolen from God song cycle
with Reg standing back to allow play between concertina and kora
This is my favourite sort of session, unamplified just sitting in a round. The Shackleton Trio.
A high-energy set from The Haar sounded great.
