Tickets aren’t cheap. £41 for the Underworld.
Also potential clash with High End Vienna, although I’m not sure how serious I am about that.
I have seen them a few times and will probably go to the Thekla gig too.
How was that? I’m imagining quite an emotionally charged gig, considering his brother’s death only a few days ago. Amazing really, to continue the tour. Massive respect to him.
it was excellent but he struggled though one of the songs and had a bit of help from, I think, his wife at the front of the stage.
Fair play to him he could easily have cancelled but he put on a very good show. Hell of a lot of support from the audience as well during that song.

Superb, effects-laden flutage, ambient textures and driving beats. Reminds me in part of the more chilled out parts of the Ozrics with added saxophone and advanced knob-twiddled drum and bass. Glad I ventured out.

Fun evening with the first outing for the Giddy Aunts, playing guitars, ukelele, clarinet, bodhran, shruti box, melodica and finishing with Wagon Wheel on banjo and steel bass!
