Astley and the blossoms on the woodsies stage at 6 going full smiths songs.
Just listening to them now. Very good
Working Men’s Club doing a decent job on iPlayer at the moment. Hefty New Order vibe circa 1985. Wish the vocalist would put his shirt back on though.
Astley on the pyramid stage at 12 was clearly have a great time
Yes,enjoyed watching him not taking himself to seriously
Think sophie Ellis bextor will be similar tomorrow
Not sure how blondie will go on seeing her recent performances
This comet is coming set is excellent
The Murder Capital are giving it 100% balls out rock 'n roll on Woodsies now. Shed loads of strobes and feedback, but little to offer in terms of subtlety.
Billy Idol murdering the classics as lead vocalist of Generation Sex. It really is awful, but makes intriguing watching (like not being able to take your eyes off a train crash).
Yes, band is good but Idol sounds like he rehearsed by going to a punk karaoke bar.
Really enjoying Obongjayar on The Park stage. Completely new to me which is one of the things I enjoy about Glastonbury.
Looking forward to Ezra Collective later. Tonight I am conflicted between Lana Del Ray, or Christine and the Queens. Hopefully the full sets will be on iPlayer tomorrow.
Was sad the Unthanks set wasn’t broadcast, but crossing fingers it will appear later.
Think I’ll go for Leftfield later
Generation sex sounded good. The singing was awful
When’s that Stu?
Thanks Paul

(Wife up on the hill sunbathing with the Louis set)
I think I can help with this one.
It’s because it’s one of the biggest cultural events on the planet you thundering cretins.
Mail, obvs.
and large numbers of people are happy paying their licence fee to get such coverage.
Meanwhile the Fail are happy wasting money lining Boris Johnson’s pockets to write utter drivel for them.
Rick Astley doing The Smiths.
Bizarre but way better than 99% of the stuff that’s on.
Certainly a good set of songs they’ve picked
