Nice wedges and nice gapping, all in M Grind?

Now you’re making it up. FFS !

50 is an m grind. The others are S.

Need to practice, a lot. That range is reasonably quiet, but an hour away.
Near one gets too busy for me to want to go a the mo.

Depending on whether you prefer the clock system or just use LHF (L shape, Half swing Full swing) you need to hit lots of balls with all three wedges with all three swings until you get consistent groupings and measure the distances.
A very good player I knew had a a sticker on the shaft of each wedge with L xx, H xx F xx so he knew the yardage of each club with each swing.
Needless to say his short game was excellent

I have read all of the Dave Peltz stuff. Once I get my swing back to where I want it I will sort a few distances.

I have no idea who that is!
I obviously got this second hand :grinning:

His books are a bit long winded tbh. Some good stuff though.
Bob Rotella is quite good.

Didn’t think any one read coaching books since You Tube!

Shorter backswing when chipping working really well. Felt quite sad that I could only play 9 earlier.
Will have to wait now until Sat morning.

Had a lesson. Swing path much better. Bought a Srixon hybrid.
18 holes tomorrow. Not unhappy.

Bring back the stale shit

A ‘Dominic Cummings’ is now a golfing term for a really long drive that goes way out of bounds but with no penalty.

Not my work, sadly.

Sadly you can’t go out of bounds without a penalty.

So close to being a good one.

I know. I bet you’ll hear it 20 times a round, mind.

According to the rules. If the rules don’t apply to you, then you can.
