I find it a bit disappointing to see the number of < 3’ puts that are not being conceded.

Some of these greens are very difficult, so a 3 footer can be harder than it seems on TV.
I have always been taught that you don’t concede a putt if that means conceding the hole, (unless it really is a tap in), You have to win the hole not get given it.!

Are they all the same?
Do different materials make a difference?
Are red ones better than blue ones?
Or is it all a load of Bull and they just keep the little white thing off the green stuff at the start of the fairyway?

There are some you just stick in the ground as high or low as you like.
These are made of wood or plastic.
Castle tees are graded by colour/height, The little orange ones are often green.
Most people use pink or orange with a modern driver
Some clubs are banning plastic tees and are selling bamboo tees in the pro shops

How high you tee the ball depends a lot on your swing.

First time ever trying golf. Did 100 balls at the local driving range. Was alright could get 200 yards occasionally, but mostly 150 yards.
