This thread has taken a disturbing turn for the worse. It is unsurprising that the reactionary ābacon and hot sauce on your HCBā zealots are to the fore again. Quite apart from the disgusting salt-free butter attitude flagrantly on display, the attitude towards chip shop etiquette is a betrayal of their heritage.

Apologies Ant, I thought youād find this a calm & civilised environment where the gentle pleasures of life are explored. Not this fetid nest of intolerant vipers with itās tawdry inhumanities & prejudices on full display.
Unsalted butter. A dislike of mushy peas. Icing on bakewell tarts. An absolute lack of understanding of chip shop etiquette not to mention a wrong headed approach to seasoning. A barbaric attitude to hot cross buns. The list goes on.
