Hello

God you people, you’ll be putting Jam first on your afternoon tea scones next!

Only after the butter!

Hurrah, someone gets it :+1:

Yes, that way you don’t melt the clotted cream on a scone that’s still warm from the oven.

Finally some civilisation. It’s a start anyway.

But that disgusting brown liquid that they spray on your chips in the chip shop isn’t vinegar, it’s " non-brewed condiment

The only time mushy peas might not be ordered is if a pie is chosen in place of the fish, in which event curry sauce presents itself as a valid alternative. But only for pie, not saveloy & never with fish.

Really they ought to print out the rules relating to this on the illuminated boards above the counter.

The real fish shop debate is cod vs haddock though.

Curry fucking sauce!!! FFS this place is going downhill faster than normal today

It shouldn’t be necessary but as with so many things, basic education regarding these vital life skills is woeful nowadays.

Curry sauce is fine with a steak & kidney pie. But not with fish. By the way nobody is pretending that curry sauce as sold in fish & chip shops has anything to do with actual curry. We all know it’s made from powder with water added but it’s still a desirable condiment as an accompaniment for a good pie.

I like it with fish and chips (on the side), but I at least acknowledge my deviancy in this respect.

I’ll bring a dozen packs to cranage

Will they get the pizza oven hotter?

Ah Cranage not Lopwell.

Might cause problems with visiting punters & envy.
