I bet it is. Lovely.
gets a bit vegetal if you let it steep for too long. I got a decent 3 infusions from a 3g portion in the one person teapot
Love Jasmine, the smell is just amazing. Might try that one.
A bit like like the foot working from home?
Found some single estate Darjeeling in the cupboard and have been embracing the multiple brew approach which was news to me. On the 3rd brew with these leaves, still tastes good. It makes expensive tea that much more worthwhile.
We do that with a blend of Jasmine and Lapsang souchong, 3 brews is usually the max though or you lose too much Jasmine.
I do three brews from leaves. The first is the best though.
Unbelievable,
Canât believe people go through all this faff just for a cuppa

These are good. Husband and wife team. No BS. Extremely good quality and better vfm than many.
Says man whoâs just spunked out for pour over covfaffe gear!
Not for everyoneâŚ
Puâer tea - get about 5 possibly six brews. In HKG teashops they often throw away the first brew as that is used to rinse the leaves.
A bit like pre infusion for coffee
I always throw away the first pour. Cleaning and âwaking upâ the leaves or something.
I use a two cup teapot and I only drink Assam A tea. No faff, just make it, drink it.
Pour one, top it up
pour another, top it up
pour another
pour another
Then I think about starting the day after the fourth *cup.
*which is a mug, not a cup. A teapot cosy is also employed to keep it warm throughout the process
I forgot to add.
NO milk
NO sugar
Just tea and boiling water
Boiled. Not boiling.
Did you knit it yourself Paul.
I expect heâs just repurposed his Sunderland FC bobble hat.
Cold?
