We were always told that you couldn’t make tea unless the water was boiling, the saying was “always pot to kettle, never kettle to pot”. The opposite for coffee.

On the Twinings loose leaf Assam at the mo’ Not bad but a long way short of the stuff FoL#2 brought back from India.

Boil kettle. As soon as boiled pour some into pot to warm it. Pour away water. Add leaves. Add water (which will be just off boiling). Stir (optional). Stand. Pour.

Well there you go, never been a fancy tea drinker. Times and teas have changed :roll_eyes: I will stick to no faff coffee :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I probably drink more tea than coffee. Mostly, due to fact that it’s easier to make a cup of tea than coffee at work.
It’s not fancy. It’s tea.
