A brief escape to Portugal. Had to scrape ice off the car yesterday before heading to the airport.
26C in Lisbon. The power of sunshine and warmth is very strong and very therapeutic.

It’s one of my favourite European countries. A superb holiday destination. The food is top notch and it is good value compared to the rest of Europe.

You should have popped in - we’re half an hour away.

Primarily Naxos Town (white washed, narrow lanes, etc), but if you want some chill, then Maragas Beach. Loads of comfortable accommodation, good Tavernas, and probably one of the most beautiful beaches in all Christendom.
