Is that Crete?

Only one Heraklion. 5th largest city in Greece.

eh?

Thought I recognised that hotel rooftop bar/terrace from when we were in Crete a few years ago.

It is Chris - we’re in the Rimondi Grand Resort.

V. Jealous, we spent 2 nights there on the way to see the palace of knossos, lovely alfa in frozen glasses on that terrace. We stayed in a small town to the west called Almyrida.

Was the first time to Crete and it’s now in my top 5 holiday places

Hope you have a great time.

Have you walked the Samaria Gorge, Al? Worth a visit if you can.

Well I’ve got the sweet spot.

Massive-ass B&Ws, massive-ass Classé multi-channel amp etc.

I’m actually really enjoying myself. Also got a nice glass of whisky.

Actual Stereo :+1:

Asymmetric rug placement generates twitching.

Unfortunately doing stuff like that isn’t possible as Anne isn’t physically able for it but she’d tell me to get to fuck anyway :grinning:

I have to say that I was completely ignorant of Luxembourg. There’s a lot more to it than you’d think.

However my main take away is how heavily the shadow of WWII hangs over the whole country, and the regard in which the US forces are held.

The American cemetery and memorial this morning.

Patton is buried here. Despite having died in Germany he apparently wanted to be buried with his men.
