I have never had any issues but YMMV.
Lot of restaurants up here are now saying the wont split the bill between more than four for large tables. I get it as if it was a table of 10 or more it would probably take the waiter 20mins to get round everyone. If it’s the kinda dckheads who only want to pay for exactly what they ordered it becomes even more complicated.
We went to Tavira , 2009, I’d say that was an accurate description, nice place.

Car running very well. Will change the oil at the weekend. Might even give it a polish. Hoping to stop off at Arese for thenAlfa museum in the way.
Got a gubbins to stick on the window for the toll roads. Got a crit air sticker as will be driving back through Lyon. Will get a Swiss pass thingy for driving when we get there.
Must remember headlight stickers this weekend.
Got bulb kits, hi via vests and a triangle. Euro breakdown cover is a lot more spendy than the last time we got it.
Going out on Le Shuttle and back from Dunkirk to Calais on the boat. Expecting long queues on the way out.

We’ve recently had a week in Porto, and then last week, a week in Hungary. Both were superb. I’m now addicted to Vino Verde.
Booked flights from Gatwick earlier to Shanghai next April for 3 weeks. £480 return, and they’re direct! I will be investigating how far we can get using their bullet trains.
Been a bit busy this week. Last minute Chuck everything in the car, Chuck down a bit of tea and drive down tonAshford last night. Le Shuttle at 9am. Epernay in time for tea. Fancy dinner for our 5th anniversary. Germany tomorrow.
Car going well.Bit of traffic in the M25 last night. Always keep looking nervously at the temp gauge, but it has never been a problem.
Turned up 90 minutes before train and they put us in the hour earlier train. Now under the sea.
I just had a wee.
345 miles since setting off just before 8 last night.
Gonna go drink us some champagne and have a fancy dinner in Epernay.

Now done 565 miles since Friday night. Less driving per day for a week or so, before a bit of a slog up through France and home.
Scenic drive through the Black Forest today on the way down to Lake Lucerne.
Will try and find gateau for lunch. Or maybe sausages.
