BA won’t change a passenger name either.
A friend was ill so I took his place on a group holiday, No problem changing names for hotel, but BA made him cancel flight (and gave credit for a new flight, not a refund). I then had to make a new booking which was more expensive as it was closer to departure date.
Return flight was EasyJet who were happy to change passenger name, (for a £75 admin fee).
