So I’ve done the test. Claire had booked the four tests for our household.
They thing is, all four tests were subject to her login to their website. Mine was entered as for me, but the results will go to her.
I’m fine with that, we happily share most things, but I can imagine that there are many households where people might not be happy for someone else to tell them their Covid result - surely this is deeply personal information? Is this even legal? What if you’re not actually related, just housemates?
There was no opportunity to input my own contact details, so any contact tracing also has to start with her, which strikes me as inefficient as well.
Can’t say I’m terribly impressed.
Surely someone could book there own test to get around that privacy problem?
Possibly, although Claire was the only one of us to be invited to take a test. Without this, I don’t think you can actually get tested.

No, she does the symptom tracker app and got selected. Her symptoms were obviously hay fever after a long walk in a meadow, but we decided to take the test for fun.
