If that is real, it’s scary as hell.

Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s true - I could imagine the pressure Bojo the clown will be putting on vaccination given he has no clue what to do in the meantime . Unless it’s another trial?
Really hope the pharma firms etc stand their ground and don’t release it until it’s ready or vaccination will be fucked with all the anti-vaxxers at the moment
It’s all a bit worrying really
Mind you, so is this -
BBC News - Cancer: Blood test for 50 types to be trialled by NHS
mainly because it’s Bezos and Gates funded.
The North is on tier 3, apart from my bit which is tier 2. I can travel through tier 3 but advised not to travel to tier 3 and tier 3 advised not to travel anywhere. Luckily it’s only advice so employers will and are ignoring it.
Liverpool’s made testing regime reduced spread by 60% so they made tier 2. Ma
Mass testing to be rolled out to all tier 3.
In the meantime, hug gran for the baby jeebus.
Tier 3 where I live…
Tier 1 just over the bridge in Cornwall. I wonder how many second home owners will be heading down for Christmas?
Loads, sufficient to bump Cornwall back up a tier or two no doubt. Mind you, I suspect if they show symptoms they will hightail it back to London to be near a decent hospital just in case.
yes my PITA FiL called last night to gloat - we are in Tier 2. Louise said “good that means you wont be able to visit us”
Tier 2 for us in Inbredfordshire thanks apparently to ‘Luton scum’ (in actuality it’s all the middle classes still having cheese and whine wife swaps and dogging expeditions). Makes no difference to me as being a humorless misanthrope I rarely see anyone other than those forced to live in the same dwelling as me anyway.
I’m dubious about all the tier bollocks anyway as they seem to be local council based and anyone who’s actually looked at council boundaries knows that they were devised either to maximize gerrymandering or laid down by someone with advanced mercury poisoning whilst raging on Columbia’s finest marching powders. Meaning that crossing a ‘tier boundary’ is necessary in many cases to take care of basic essentials such as shopping or making a side order of garlic bread last for 15 pints.
That’s ok, you can cross the boundaries whenever you like, fun isn’t it.
How much does the average house cost there?
Average is 300k depending on where you live, you could probably sell up, move here and have enough left over for a customized, deserted carpark shag wagon that would attract ALL the honeys.
Yep, in Bedfordshire as well (Leighton Buzzard). Being sandwiched between the two relative plague spots of Luton and Milton Keynes has probably not done the tier rating any good at all, despite Central Bedfordshire having a low infection rate. I’m staying in as much as possible anyway, so it’s slightly academic !
Feeling great now after my doctor phoned to say my psa levels are ok
Tier 2 here, although I think this tier for the area is more political than health driven. Merseyside uttered a few groanings but were compliant with government directives/requests, whereas Andy Burnham was outspoken, justifiably so over in Greater Manchester and has been rewarded with tier 3. The infection rates are relatively marginal between the two areas.
In January Piffle Paffle will be elevated to the #1 world beating super ego nonsensical cunt when Trump departs the White House.
The tier system is, in part, based on the available NHS beds in the region. This explains how sparsely populated rural areas can be in higher tiers than anticipated. The beds available per thousand people is relatively low so even modest rates of infection can threaten the ability of a region’s hospitals to cope.
‘The tier system is, in part, based on the available NHS beds in the region.’
This is why London where I live has squirmed it’s way into Tier 2. Lots of infections but 4 world class hospitals within 5 miles of my home.
If you are going to be ill London is a good place to be.
