How do you feel? (Part 1)

This came from my doctors surgery today .

This website www.germdefence.org/index.html?src=A81046 has scientifically proven advice to reduce COVID-19 infections. It takes 10 minutes - try it out!

Fucking brilliant that. My cancer is a sneaky cunt as there are no symptoms until very late on. You don’t usually know you have it until you are riddled with primaries and secondaries. A blood test to catch the fucker early so you could stamp on it would be an amazing thing.

Yep, but the direction of change of the infection rates is different. Liverpool has seen a rapid decline in the growth rate of infections that is expected to continue because of the availability of mass tests and Tier 3 /Lockdown. Also ICU bed availability has picked up here. This is not the case for MCR. Andy Burnham is simultaneously absolutely right in what he is saying/his own worst enemy for picking a fight with our Tory Overlords.

I agree, an absolutely fantastic opportunity. Does it have to be monetised by Big Tech though ?

Tier 3 here, Thank fuck.

I figure almost everyone will be back in Tier 3 in January. Can’t see any other outcome until the vaccination/TTI/mass tests are really well underway (and actually are all running at acceptable rates and not capacity = XXX but we are doing 65%-odd of XXX

I’m just glad that for once I don’t have to go anywhere or see anyone and it’s not my fault.

That’s going to be a feckin’ winner in Derry and bits of Belfast. I wonder what the Celtic and Hibernian types will think of it?

Hahahah

And Tier 3 - No chips

Should it not have the Swedish flag as well then?

I bet if you printed the flags of all the nationalities of the scientists that worked on it in Britain alone the flags would be too small to make out on that vial.

I was thinking about the timing of this Xmas window where you can see extra households. It really doesn’t work for me, school ends on the 18th and there’s not enough time to isolate before seeing the oldsters.

Then it dawned on me. There’s plenty of time to isolate between school term ending and Xmas… If you go to public school. Indeed my local public school breaks up on the 9th, which is exactly two weeks before the travel window opens.

Has the Cabinet decided this entire policy based on the public school timetable?

Surely not. How could you suggest such a thing?

Confirmed case in my daughter’s class ( she is seven ). But head says she does not need to isolate as although in the same classroom, apparently no close contact. Not convinced by this, even though I am sure they are following DOE advice. Surely all in the room should now be isolating? How can they guarantee no contact in a class of 30 or so kids?

Stuart I have quoted this to my better half who is a primary school teacher. Apparently this is not necessarily incorrect but as you say how can they guarantee no contact has been made with the other kids in the class? Most schools would play safe and get the whole class or bubble to self isolate. Her school would.
If you have not been sent one by the school you can request to see details of their Covid Risk Assessment which all schools should have.
