IC: Bordeaux Bakeoff

Certainly interested, date dependent

And you’ll need a second driver…

Wouldn’t want anyone else to risk their licence.

No reason to pick the expensive times for flights etc.
Definitely out of season best for me, but I don’t have kids so might not suit all?

You can currently fly directly to Bordeaux from the following UK airports:

  • Bristol.
  • London Gatwick.
  • London Stansted.
  • London Luton.
  • Manchester.
  • Birmingham.
  • Belfast International.
  • Glasgow International.

There is an idea Pete,
Take the Newhaven to Dieppe ferry and pick me up on the way!

Your child seat awaits.

I meant instead of Adam! :grinning:

Hmmm

I would love to, but the vagaries of the coming year make it difficult to commit.

That’s understandable, and it sounds like you have some very high stress vagueries in that mix too.

It’s a lovely thought but with one thing and another (not all of them medical) Bordeaux would be too much of a challenge this year I’m afraid .

In the meantime

do the italics mean there’s something I/we haven’t heard about Paul ?

Not at all, she’s a very lovely 76 year old close friend who travels from Fife to live here when I go south. She used to be our nearest neighbour here and she’s wonderful with the girls.

That’s all.

We’ve half a hectare and three covered barns…

For those happy to slum it we also have a 12 man tent and assorted bits we can use too.
