In advance if the new thing turning up sometime next century, any of you ever bought toughened glass?
Iād like to buy a sheet to put on top of the crate to make it into a coffee table thing for my record cleaners to stand on (and show off the engraving on the lid).
Itās about 90 x 60 so pretty big. Where does one find a glass supplier?

43 quid for 6mm toughened. Thatās their guess for the best bit to do the job 
Iād go 10mm itās look much bettererr, and try Lee Glass, they toughen their own.

If 10mm will be more eye candy then it makes sense. Straight on top of the wood or pads to stop it sliding??
