Danleys on a defender. @BobC
Hehe.
That’s a strong job getting SH50’s up there and mounting them etc at 55kgs each.
Nope looking again, I think they are SM60Fs. 23kgs and 2x8" bass and 1 x BMS 5CN160 dual compression driver and 5" cone.
Sub on the ground under. Looks like a Keystone sub. Could even be two? Who knows.
Run DMC / Thunderstruck here we come.
Brilliant! Would love to hear it.
Goldmund loudspeakers, definitely. Suspect the amps are too, but not 100% on that. I’d imagine @f1eng can confirm.
Yes they are Goldmund speakers and they are all active nowadays and at least some have a proprietary wireless link to a streamer/preamp. I am listening to an earlier non-active model as i type.
Pfft, no real bass ![]()
All the little seats in the hot spot ready .. ![]()
The middle one undamped for extra clang?
Actually, I don’t think the middle one is connected to the amps. Too high anyway!
relying on @Gyroscope to visit & report back!
I won’t be far away around the end of September. Trying to think of how I could fudge my itinerary ![]()
I crave bunker
Mark Ernestus’ Ndagga Rhythm Force are pretty well known but if I’m honest I think I had assumed that he was South African rather than German. I guess the name sounded more Dutch than German to me.
A lot more info on the Floating Points sound system here, they mention a £200 Italian driver as a good alternative to the Altec 515, my guess is Faital Pro but no idea which driver.
When amps were 20W and powered the whole lot, kick bass and sub bass as we know it was not yet invented ![]()
