They look great, just found the Simco site and they are designed by 2 brothers in Manchester.
They use RCF drivers.
Yes love the look of them.
Just seen the price.
Not sure how much mine would cost if made by a small company
What is the UK price? I saw they are 15k in USA
Yes that’s what I saw. Guessing the same price for uk
15,500 usd for some rcf drivers and a softwood plywood box that’s £40 a sheet in b&q.
looks like it is these speakers from turn end audio

Yes, same people. I am guessing that Simco is their new name as the website is a lot nicer than the Turn End one is?
No, Simco is owned by

Same brothers designing the speakers, but as you say not owned by them.
My concern with speakers like these is matching the character of how the bass system interacts with the room compared with how the horn loaded mid/top drives it. Very difficult to make it seamless.
Agreed, but you are reflecting on practicalities bourne of experience, rather than just gasping at what looks cool on social media
Meanwhile I am triggered by all the baren concrete spaces used for so many similar photos, and the inevitable reverberant hell that will provide the worst possible environment for listening to music, but maybe that isnt the point, its just about having a really cool photo
But visually it makes a change from hifi shows, or unobtainable rooms with ott acoustic treatments
It’s the modern way. Looks over performance.
Looks like they are having fun
Apologies for those not on faecesbook[https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1BtBAMnXXL/]
Pleasingly mental (notice the kids toys in front of the window, it’s obviously the main living room) and Japan Man levels of commitment
Tremendous !
