If I could find an aerial view of the top, it would be a lot clearer. Definitely not the eye-sore it could potentially be.
Dropped from the clouds, contrast and out of place can be a good look …rather than dropped into the ancient sea

says: there are slots at the bottom for lifting forks to go in, no ? So if you can see the slots then that’s the side.
(Yup, I believe you can also lift them by the corners.)

No it has holes in the corners for hooks and stuff, must be the top
Yep, the dark oblong bits along the bottom are slots for forkliift tines for lifting.
Although knowing our stevedores they’d give it a go if they were pointing to the sky.

No the bottoms are steel, just lined with plywood or similar on the inside
