Jim being wrong about cars

@Jim needs the activated charcoal version.

How does that work? Drive chain is part of the engine so it would warm up as the same rate as any other part, except maybe the exhaust/manifold and parts near it, which would warm slightly quicker.

Unless you’re referring to motorcycles?

The plus side of a 400m walk to the car is that it can be put into defrost mode at home, and be ready when you get to it. Remote access is quite handy.

Wouldn’t need to worry about this defrosting malarkey if you had a decent-sized gara… … er… Oh…

Drive chain as in gearbox and its oil, drive shafts, rear diff etc etc.
Not the timing chain / belt.

Video with other reasons not to do it…

Ah…drive train then…

Train yes.

My bad

Anyway. Watch the video and stop wearing out your engine.

But toast. Or something.

CO2 is what plants need, so I never understood what the fuss was about…

@Jim’s more about the methane.

That’s better.

What does farting have to do with all of this?

On a serious note, the direct injected diesels were that efficient, that the first generation cars in the 90’s did not have sufficient heating capacity and since then, these cars had additional heating systems mounted.

There is a balance to be had.
