Just ONE concert that you really wished that you had witnessed

Cannot decide between any of these three (or relevant tours given some are a combination of gigs):

Can’t recall the year but missed Michal hedges playing live in london around Christmas 87 as my then girlfriend (now wife of 33 years) was working at toysarus and needed pick8ng up, regretfully thought I would catch him next time

Only seen him on YouTube live and it looked like a great live gig

Always wished I could have been at this gig. The music would be one thing but a friends mother is in the audience (Glasses blowing bubbles in front of acid fried dancerman) at 12 I had an embarrassing crush on her…Thinking about it, this may be where Mr MWS’s unrequited love stems

Shame they only made one studio album.

I can’t help thinking that Stevie Winwood could have been a great addition to Cream.

Deep Purple. Made in Japan is a fantastic live album.
One of my favourites.

Queen Wembley 86

Or prince at the Superbowl

Seeing Bowie or the JHE in Bognor town hall would’ve been fun.

Is that for real ? The fine print has some odd stuff in it.

Don’t think so, looks like he only played Bognor in 66 and the laughing gnome was released in 67 & 73

Does seem to be a novelty tin plate sign for sale on ebay and etsy etc.

Nirvana at Lee’s Palace (better known as Sleaze Palace ) in Toronto. They were “touring” in support of Bleach, nobody knew who they were. There were maybe 200 people in attendance, Kurt Cobain became so frustrated with the lackadaisical crowd that he brought a table and chair onstage and began performing sitting down

Apparently the Byrds weren’t too wonderful on that tour, but still….

The biggest dump in Middlesbrough - and that’s saying something!

August 26th 1977

They even got the poster wrong, it should have read “Acne Rabble”

AKA Sex Pistols - Part of the SPOTS tour - Sex Pistols on Tour Secretly.

Apparently only two of these billboard adverts left. One sold for ÂŁ8,000
The mystery chart group was the pistols.
Was meant to see them in 77 on the banned from everywhere tour. My mate Gary had the tickets and we missed each other so I didn’t get in. Wouldn’t mind just owning the ticket stub.

Yeah, hence calling themselves Acne Rabble. Everyone but Middlesbrough Council knew who it really was

Inside, The Rock Garden was immeasurably worse than it looked from the outside!

Really!
