My first proper turntable in the early 80s was a nextel Systemdek with the fr64s.
I now have a Systemdek with a 24s. I’ve gone backwards

That seems to imply all the S models are silver

that is referring to the finish of the arm.
I think the black 64s was a later addition and is a lot rarer than the silver ones.

My guess every arm was probably put on an lp12 to be judged. Could be wrong though

:+1: the text even noted that the high mass might be a problem with some of the more boingy decks.

Pretty sure I was told it was silver when I purchased it but no idea it’d that was correct or not. Great arm regardless
