The Barbour came back from its 12 anual clean, repair and re- wax. Itās a quilted heavyweight, couple of patches needed and as filthy as fuck.
The maroon quilt is maroon again, as opposed to grime with a hint of maroon. The patches ended up as one patch only. The arm where this was required was split at the seams from cuff to pit to allow the patch to be made without sewing through the permanent quilt lining. They then relplaced the whole of that canvas lower arm piece . The patch on the other arm wasnāt required as they just replaced the same element on that arm. Perfect re-wax and i have a good as new jacket for 80 notes. Should out last me now.
Oh, i also got a drawstring tote, ideal for storage of soiled underware in the Landy, result.
