I still have a lambskin leather jacket that was bought for me in 2006 although it just sits in the wardrobe nowadays. I keep it for sentimental reasons.
15 yrs and 50lbs ago….
Calfskin… cost me a fortune back then. Was nicknamed “The Jacket” as I had a great run with the ladies when I wore it on nights out. Even met my current partner for the first time when I was wearing it so it’s got a lot to answer for.

I had one leather jacket only my grandad gave me it when I was 16 it was an original U-boat leather long coat , fucking heavy and you looked a bit odd in it at anti nazi rallies in the late 80’s like Maureen it got robbed at a party .
For years my grandad kept asking how it was breaking in , couldn’t bring myself to tell him the truth. I dread to think how much it was cost to buy now , it was immaculate when it was given to me

A mate had a black one of those coats, he was ex army and sported a severe haircut in the 80s.
He was doing IT work for a bank and couldn’t work out why he was getting really bad looks on the tube. He came into the pub from work one day and was complaining about it.
He was still wearing his ID halyard from work.
He was working for Bank National de Paris and they only used their initials on the pass!
The British National Party was very much in the news at the time!

We’ve had several Heir Flicks, a couple of Fonze’s and some random corduroy porn.
Has anyone ventured into Blue or red leather? I suspect @Wayward may have done during his wilderness years with hair metal.
Leather is so last century. I can,t fit my 70’s one anymore.
I have leather but not coloured.
