Some whisky replenishments just arrived a short while back.
This is a fairly solid cask strength NAS heavily peated Islay single malt from an undisclosed distillery. Quite similar in profile 'n taste/nose characteristics to Laphroig cask strength 10yr old, so seems a strong chance that’s what it is, albeit bottled at a somewhat younger age.
This wuz a strong fave tipple of my sadly passed mucker Beaker, he had my last unopened bottle only around 10 weeks back.
We’re having a send-off event fer him this coming Saturday, so I wanted some more in. Really like it meself & have always had some on t’ go over the last 4/5yrs.
