....more armchair politics (Part 1)

It is 8D chess. We just haven’t left the 3D world yet.

Jayda Fransen handed her arse in Glasgow Southside. She got 46 votes. Now she can fuck off back to where she came from. Hopefully she got the message that rancid racist cunts are not welcome in Glasgow.

Very, very good thread from Gavin Barwell. Sums up Labour’s difficulties really well.

That article states “Labour is increasingly the party of the young, the university educated, the city dweller”.

Is that really the case ? :face_with_raised_eyebrow: Hmmm

The Burning Pink Party sounds intriguing

At least Binface got far more votes than Piers Corbyn

If you sum first and second preferences Binface was on par with Fox too.

He also got more than Gammons did, which is nice

Were there more on the next page ?

Do we have an idea when the last constituency might declare ?

VB

No idea.

All done this evening as I understand it.

Heads will roll

Should cause uproar as labour rips itself to bits.

I saw a list of pledges Starmer had made when he took the job. All good sensible fare. Unfortunately no one has thought to mention any of them over the past few months so no one really knew what he or Labour currently stood for. It’s been an appalling ‘non campaign’. He does need an Alastair Campbell type to get the message out.

Found it.

The ‘Forensic Opposition to the Tories in Parliament’ sounds good but: How many voters are fully engaged with Parliament? He needs to go to 11, which could have been: - Build better media relations. Without that he is toothless (Nobody knows, so nobody cares - As evidenced by the ten pledges above I have never seen)

And have votes, which is why three word slogans and a message that takes five seconds to read are all you need.
