....more armchair politics (Part 2)

Didn’t he have a meeting with Musk and Trump recently?

This may have been a key subject… :person_facepalming:

Edit. No he didn’t, it was him and Trump:

Also just appointed Dana White to the board, it’s going absolute clown shoes there at the moment.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Deluded in full denial.

I’m sure her lawyers are just doing this for a laugh. If they had any sense of responsibility they’d have taken her on one side and explained that he has two law degrees, became a barrister in 1987 and a bencher in 2009 and has been the DPP and Head of the Crown Prosecution Service. So he knows a bit about the law and is hardly going to be spooked by a solicitor’s letter.

But no. They’ll have taken her money and sent the letter anyway, trying to keep a straight face the whole time …

Marina Hyde on good form.

We have the world’s richest man making spectacularly uninformed yet politically market-moving interventions every 10 minutes. Chasing those, we have Kemi Badenoch, who was supposed to be smart but comes across as a lightweight and permabungling agent of chaos.

Sincere apologies for the source. This came up in my Google feed.

Fuck me, Peter Kyle on LK defending faecesbook dropping fact checking etc and pretty much refusing to condemn the changes or Zuckabot.

When do these cunts start becoming a threat to national security?

Christ, the brown nosing is strong. I wasn’t quite sure who he was, but was really expecting him to be a Tory if that was his position.

He did pull Trevor Phillips (Sky News) up on the nonsensical proposition that it was Elon Musk who provoked a response re child safety fears. Labour introduced a child safety bill earlier this week that’ll have taken months to get together. The idea they’ve only responded to the issue now because of Musk is ridiculous.

It was his response to Zuckabot scrapping fact checking etc that astounded me, not the child safety bill stuff.

He flatly refused to say it was a bad thing and kept waffling on about existing legislation preventing nasty things being published on faecesbook.

Anyone who can say that with a straight face is an uber cunt.

It does seem that this Labour government is astonishingly naive about tech company’s intentions, conspiracy theories etc. They should at least have someone detailed to monitor it all just so they can be up to speed with prevailing events. Not necessarily always responding but just showing some sign that they’re abreast of what the rumours are would be useful.

They’re well suited. Two men who are nothing like as clever as they think they are.
