Which is why the US government wanted to wrest control of TikTok from the Chinese of course. I guess Donald doesn’t care much what the voters think. For now at least he’s not supposed to need them again.

I think the way it’s supposed to work is that you know everything with absolute certainty when you are young, then realise that in fact you know nothing at all.
The space vacated by that mind-blowing revelation is supposed to be filled by serenity and wisdom.
But life is a huge con.
Will keep you posted, but nothing to report thus far except enormous disappointment.

Life should be disappointing.
No particular reason. I just hate seeing people happy. People are just awful.
And Things, many of those are awful, too.
Still, at least we’re not gonna miss-out on the rise of Fascism this time…

He won reelection, in normal times things would quieten down, sabre rattling would ease, showboating would abate. But not with Donnie. It may be the case all he is doing giving TikTok a reprieve is negotiating to bring it under his umbrella - Another mouth piece / control leaver - He’s swung Zuckerborg, has X in his pocket, TikTok would be nice to poisson the kids too. The narrative must be controlled.

Why indeed, it is utterly unacceptable. I think the answer is that it would be seen to be and would actually be the first step to disestablish the CofE, a house of cards if you will. When the Welsh church disestablished from the English church they lost their Bishops, it’s a reverse case, but you get my drift.
I also favour disestablishment of the CofE and the ending of prayer in Parliament.
