....more armchair politics (Part 2)

{Fuhrage gleefully rubs hands}

What are the odds that they will get away with it?

There’ll be Tory MPs placing bets on that outcome :grinning:

Never mind, they are going to mop up at the local elections and likely trounce the Tories at the next GE . They are likely to become the largest Party in Parliament forcing a coalition of Lab/Lib. They may even win outright. What a fucking shit show.

Many said the same about Brexit.

Here’s a clue:

I see a column inch grabbing Mosley wannabe with his tongue perma grafted to MAGA’s anus in order to receive vast funding and campaign direction to pimp the UK to the USA. I know Musk has said he will not give the $100Mil to Farage that was mooted but Mercer et al (Along with the 13 bilionairs Trump has appointed + other Tech and medical Bros) may well feel differently.

Still can’t see Farage as PM. A long way between here and there.

Another great Donald Trump success. he managed to turn a huge Conservative lead in the polls to a Liberal win in Canada, who ran on a ‘Fuck Trump’ ticket

Ahem. Boris Johnson… anyway, with Kemi soon to be ousted, further divisions will happen within the Conservative Party.

I reckon it is highly likely that deals will be done and that Farage will ‘save the tories’…

I reckon there are many closet Farage fans there.

And- despite his apparent lack of commitment to Clacton- it seems that there is a lot of support for him. And Reform LTD.

Anecdotally, an increasing number of my colleagues are talking about voting Reform. One of them even advised me to do so.

More chance of me getting pregnant.

Anyhoo, I sent that guy the Gary Stevenson video about Musk. When my colleague called Elon a “cunt” I then reminded them how Musk was keen to support Reform…

It has been said before. Both the left and right own this mess; they fucked up by forgetting about the needs of people who work in undervalued, socially necessary occupations.

I’ve found the best thing to do with those thinking of voting reform is to show them video of farage and tice saying they’ll keep immigration at its present level. Because without immigration, what have reform got?

Edit. Maybe the best thing would be if reform actually got in for a term and then people could see it was all bullshit and they fell for it. I dare say though that they’d perform some mental gymnastics and find a reason for it not transforming their lives.

The influence of American ‘politics’ on the UK is vast. The thing is, it’s not left or right but Billionaires pretending to be politicians that form the current US government. They don’t see the role as being in service or the will of the people or even the interests of the country. I guess once you have billions and no morals these days the next target is power.

And that was precisely what Hel kept saying to me in the years leading up to Brexit. I said ‘it’ll never happen’ and she kept reminding me that I didn’t mix with the kind of people who would be affected and who are the sweet spot for populists like Farage to work on.

Dismiss these people and their concerns and you send them into the open arms of Reform.
