....more armchair politics (Part 2)

100% correct. If they get their hands on the levers of power the Labour left will succeed only in ushering in a Reform government consisting mainly of shop soiled Tories. The useless cunts are living in some kind of fantasy world if they think that Raynor and Milliband will ever be electable.

Vote Reform for lower taxes (9% Council Tax rise)

Very much this apart from Starmer being an unwitting stooge. He’s as dirty as any of them.

That ship has sailed, Reform will form the next UK government. Nothing any of these Labour cunts could or would do will change that. I hate and despise them for it.

You’re probably right. I’m not sure what if any political convictions or beliefs he actually has which allowed him to be at first groomed then steered by Mandelson & McSweeney for their own ends. I don’t like the way the country is apparently being sold out, quietly, to unaccountable private enterprise. All the defence & NHS contracts being handed out to Peter Thiel’s Palantir thanks to Mandelson’s influence. Also, the relentless march towards establishing Enterprise Zones which again seem unaccountable and beyond scrutiny. Certainly the one down here in Devon is already impenetrable & secretive despite not having achieved much so far. I worry about where these technocrats want to take us in enabling corporations to avoid paying tax & diminishing our ability to complain about it. I’m not sure, that despite the number of MPs it has, the current Labour party could muster a credible government that wasn’t comprised of either fruit loops or self serving bastards. Very disappointing. Will probably have to vote Green next time.

Agreed. If I was in England, I would 100% vote Green. Up here not sure yet.

Green will be the only opposition I fear

Positive meeting of Labour PLP tonight.
McSweeney out may be enough.
The only people who can get rid of Starmer is the PLP, not looking like it will happen in the short term.

Sarwar is a sock puppet, who for has yet to be determined.

Labour could do worse than controlling the narrative with an actual message / competing ideology. (Other than being tied into devisive right wing ‘belonging’ nonsense that is so dominant)

Perhaps something about actual inequality

Problem is that the rich folk who own Labour aren’t all that interested in inequality either…

Nowadays, every time I access any form of media I am told fundamentally the same thing, irrespective of their political leaning. They all seem to copy one-another in their own desperate scrabble for popularity. The current lead story everywhere being Keir Starmer’s (apparently) hopelessly benighted position. The real situation is neither as monochrome nor as dire, but media reportage so completely shapes the political agenda now that what they say becomes The Truth, so Starmer is toast, it’s only really a matter of when, even if he clings-on until 2028.

Almost pitiably, Labour issue a constant stream of posts on social media detailing their day-by-day achievements - and they are actually achieving rather a lot of positive things, all thoroughly unglamourous, and all instantly forgettable. None get reported by the media unless it can be turned into criticism and mockery. Not one.

Sure, Labour have been extremely disappointing - godnose that is at least historically consistent - but in terms of actively harming this cuntry and the majority of us plebs, they are still doing a FAR better job than the deeply-corrupt and bungling tories did, and an almost INFINITELY better job than the Russian owned clown-bitches called Reform will do when they landslide to victory off the back of corporate media manipulation and Russian propaganda.

Unfortunately the Labour Party’s appetite for self-harm is as voracious as ever - there’s always some annoying tit with an me-me-me agenda and a hurty butt to stand-up and harm everyone. Again, t’were ever thus.

I’ll vote strategically at the next election for whoever is not the tories and who has the greatest chance of keeping Reform scum out of power, even if I have to hold my nose and vote Labour again.

I’m buying into the theory that being a billionaire melts your brain.

When you’re denied absolutely nothing you go bonkers in fairly short order.
