Of course he’s won. Not even a divisive, racist, smarmy, corrupt cunt like Frogface could lose against a bin, 120 care in the community non-attendees, a sideboard and a Cauliflower who registered by accident. Probably ! IMHO.
Naw it’s a toss up between Binface and Nick the Flying Brick.
Clacton already shat the bed once. It will happen again. Even the mighty Count cannot cure the electoral incontinence of Reform voters.
It’s actually a shame that so many ‘other candidates’ put their names forward. Had it been a straight fight between the Count and the cøunt there might have been true cause for celebration.
Nah, even we’re not the US, entirely, yet, for a couple of years, maybe.
From 2 days ago…
Even allowing for a full 3.1% margin of error swing, Farage would be looking for a new job!
Farage declares victory!
14 hours ago… So that is a bit predictory. May yet come true.
Sadly the turn out seems to have been the usual “meh - makes no difference.” About 43%.
Not bad for a by election nobody wanted, Some have been <30%
Farage was always going to win this nonsensical sideshow.
Sadly, yes.
Let today be known as Farage-Commons-standards-inquiry-reopening-eve.
Looks like c 22,000 votes for Frogface, and Count Binface getting nearly 10,000.
And the treacherous slimy cunt has bottled out attending the announcement. Wanker.
In the final analysis.
Fuck you - Clacton.
Phyrric victory innit…
347 of them, it appears. 3.7% of Binface’s total.
He lost to Rejoin EU who got 492 votes. In Clacton.
He wasn’t even fourth. Tony Francis (Independent) got 432 votes and Pamela Walford (Independent) got 371.
Of those who turned out 5 out of 8 wanted Farage, 3 out of 8 would sooner have had some no-hoper or clown.
I wonder how many voted Farage because they felt they had to vote (good for them) and didn’t recognise any other name?
How many actually wanted Farage to win?
While this has been a Big Deal, at least 80% of the UK will be blissfully ignorant of the whole affair.
Much as I want Farage to be unpopular, I fear that many of those who didn’t vote would have voted for him if they’d been dragged to the polling booth. They might have reckoned that he was going to win even without them bothering to get off the sofa.
The people who wanted someone other than Farage, on the other hand, could have been more motivated to turn out and at least register their protest.
This is just speculation tho’.
As Newsthump has posted:
BREAKING! Nigel Farage returns to normality by refusing to turn up in Clacton.
He was in a different part of Clacton, just not at the declaration.
- Safest Reform seat in Britain.
- Not a single mainstream party standing against him.
- Low turnout because even Clacton’s tired of his lies.
- Bloke with a bin on his head increases vote share by 10,000%
- ‘The Anus of Essex’ derps-out, hard, as expected.
- Fuhrage still only manages to scrape-up 100 more votes!
- He doesn’t bother turning-up. As usual.
- Lies about ‘credible threat’; Essex Police insist there was none.
- Attention-whoring sideshow has cost us at least ~£250,000
- That investigation into his £5M bung still happening anyway.
Picrel: that ‘credible threat’ earlier…
