This is a really interesting one. I was talking to my ‘kids’ - Male 31, Male 27 about the future and both have decided not to have children, as their future would, at best, be uncertain / difficult and, quite possibly, non-existent.

I won’t post a fucking awful Spectator Article that apeared on my News Feed yesterday. It appeared to suggest nurses don’t deserve a wage increase.
I’m not usually violent or angry; could not finish the article as it was so fucking provocative.
I hope the cunt that wrote it is taken down a couple of rungs.
Has always been the case, If you read the Spectator you should know exactly what you will get.

Naturally the Tory cunts have to take the lions share of the blame but in all fairness Labour have done their share of unlubricated butt fuckery of the British public.
What’s the answer? Who knows power and human nature seem to equal cunt no matter how noble their initial intentions. All I know is that it’s going to get a lot worse and I don’t really see how any political party will make a significant improvement.

How is immaterial. They have to want to make a difference in the first place, but they don’t. Even if they did, its too complicated and they don’t have any answers anyway. Therefore you just get more useless rhetoric designed to keep things the largely the same.
Political parties just exclusively want power and the trappings of power for themselves and their ilk. Serving the public is not remotely of any interest.

A mechanism to enable the public to force a general election and tighter controls on media partisanship and bias would be a fucking good start imho.

I’m not convinced that would make the slightest difference I’m afraid. Finance controls both media and government and so more elections would just be more illusion of democracy without changing anything.
You’ll never control the media, and again even if you could it doesn’t matter - propaganda is beamed into the individual via the internet so legislation would just be another illusion of control but totally meaningless - the genie is out of the bottle.
