It’s incredible. From inside our double glazed, heavily insulated house, our two can hear the post van when it’s approaching, yet is still 200 yards away. They bark like hell and are up at the door wanting to get out to see postie.
I wonder what they make of our hi-fi ?
VB
Who knows, not me, but they tend to ignore tv or music. On the rare occasion that someone walks past the house though, they always bark.
My woof is fine unless there is excessive loudness and bass, oh dear.
He is definitely not friends with the Velodyne DD15.
Or, in that case, 99% of your music…
Wow
Following some of the complaints some people expressed yesterday about getting a GP appointment.
Whatever you do though, please don’t go to A&E unless its genuinely urgent or an emergency, especially this time of year.
Our doctors only do appointments for the day you ring. Start dialling at 8am, engaged…engaged…engaged…engaged, sorry all the appointments are gone for today, ring again tomorrow. If you do manage to get an appointment 90% of the time it’s with a nurse practitioner.
Our family collie could definitely tell two-stroke apart from other engines.
Trouble was that with every passing motorbike he expected my Dad to arrive in the Wartburg.
Went into town for a couple of well deserved pints after work today to be confronted with this:
Good job I was in my hi viz coat and Postie shorts, or I might not have got in…
Ok, I’ve got most of them. But who’s in the cradle? And who’s standing next to Nobhead Johnson?
And I can’t see Faraghi?
Gerry Francis next to Johnson.
Steve McFadden in the cradle (EastEnders’ Phil Mitchell).
VB
Thanks but I’ve no idea who either of those are.
Also who’s looking through the caravan window?
I think the Phil Mitchell character appears in all of them
Once upon a time Gerry Francis was the captain of an Association Football team called Queens Park Rangers.
EastEnders is a popular soap opera on the television.
Not sure about the woman in the window. Karen Bradley ?
