Harley Davidson 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic Concept Motorcycle by Jakusa Atlantico.
Take a very American iron horse, throw in some 1936 French art deco car design and you get the stunning Harley-Davidson Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic concept bike.
It’s the work of Hungarian car and bike designer Tamas Jakus whose Jakusa Design house fuses old-school and futuristic design concepts.
The Jakusa Atlantico is modelled on the curvaceous 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic of which only four were built. Two remain today. One was sold a few years ago for more than $40 million and the other is in the Ralph Lauren collection.
It takes a Fat Boy and encases it in aerodynamic bodywork, a grill-covered engine and bold solid wheels.
The exterior painted the blue-sky color with rounded body shape that characterizes the pre WW II design. Its front wheels wearing a special tire cover as a characteristic features of the vintage cars, machinery sector closed frame shaped like the Bugatti’s front grille. Small front lights were lowered as to compensate for the magnitude of tank. It’s an adventurous concept, but like the original Bugatti Type 57SC, it might be a bit ahead of its time, so we don’t think Harley is ready just yet to make such a bike.

No steering lock. Straight line only.
That’s gopping.
Create a pastiche of some of the features of a gorgeous art deco car but without the grace or proportion, stitch it on top of a Harley while retaining the characteristic/awkward feet-first riding position and we’re back to those polished gold Hart Audio turds… I just threw up a little in my mouth
That abomination probably weighs more than the Bug, which was tiny, and light and sleek…
…really does miss the point spectaculalrly!
Just a shit photoshop effort.

What really gets me is the shitty state of it; relatively low mileage and borked mechanically and structurally!
